Trip to Washington DC & Gettysburg


Sam went with the Team America Group to Washington DC & Gettysburg this summer. They spent 5 days there, and saw so much. I will post a few pictures for you to enjoy!

In Ford's Theatre

Day One -left the school at 3 AM & flew to DC --They vistied Arlington national Cemetery, Iwo Jima Memorial, White House, FDR Memorial, World War II Memorial.
Day Two-US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Holocaust Museum, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Einstein Statue & they saw a production of "Shear Madness" at the Kennedy Center.
Day Three-the went to Mount Vernon, the Smitsonian, Air & Space Museum, American Histroy Museum, Natural History Museum, Ford's Theater, Peterson House & ended the night with the Alexandria Colonial GHOST TOUR!
Day Four-Gettysburg Battlefield Tour
Day Five-Washington Monument Tour, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Ft McHenry Tour, and back to airport to fly home...arriving after midnight!

He had a blast, rested up for a week and then was off to Boy Scout Camp!
